Since I frequently shoot homes on the beach, I am always asked about what the weather is like for pictures on my clients listings. I don’t want to waste my time or my clients because of bad weather as I always prefer blue sky. I live in Thousand Oaks and it’s close to impossible to know what the weather is like before I arrive. Weather reports are never right. It could say sunny at 2pm and it doesn’t come out till 4pm! June Gloom is a nightmare to deal with!
My solution to this problem is using live webcams in the areas where I will be traveling. Most beach cities have at least one that is available. Its the most accurate way to know what the weather is doing, on demand. I’ve compiled this list of webcams I use to get on demand weather reports.  If you know of any others please leave a comment.
